Cooking is something we do on a daily basis, and what we consume contributes a lot to our health. With endless choices of cooking oil, we’re not sure what would be the best option.

If you have yet to try Harvist Red Palm Oil, you might want to give it a try after reading our review!

The Uniqueness Of Red Palm Oil When Cooking

When using Harvist Red Palm Oil, you’ll notice your dishes start to turn reddish in colour unlike using your regular yellow cooking oil. This is actually the colour of beta carotene which converts into Vitamin A once consumed by the body.

Besides, it kinda makes your dishes look way more presentable with the unique colour! You may take a look at how it would turn out by reading our review below.

Yellow Palm Oil vs Red Palm Oil

If you notice a slight yellowish colour while you’re cooking, don’t panic! It actually comes from carotenes, which are rich in antioxidants. The colour is unique – it’s not something to worry about!

Yellow Palm Oil actually destroys the beta-carotene as it undergoes a conventional method compared to Harvist Red Palm Oil which uses a new process method that retains the Pro-Vitamin A carotenoids. Yellow Palm Oil doesn’t exactly retain traces of Vitamin E while Red Palm Oil has a high amount of Vitamin A & E.

Other than that, when cooking with Yellow Palm Oil, it is not stable when frying during high temperature, but with Red Palm Oil, it will have stability. Besides that, Red Palm Oil has a smoke point of 230 degree Celsius which makes it suitable for deep frying.

Our Review

We managed to receive 3 types of red palm oil from Harvist: Premium Red Palm Oil, Garlic Infused Red Palm Oil and Chili Infused Red Palm Oil. We gave them a try, check out our verdict below and how the dishes turned out!

Verdict: It made the chicken stir-fry tastier and healthier! It doesn’t give off an overly oily feeling either. The overall texture is just right. Not only that, the smell it gives off was pretty aromatic too.

Verdict: We mixed it with the Chili Infused Red Palm Oil for the vegetable dish.

Verdict: It was quite spicy, but it tasted really good! A great added option if you need some spiciness to your dishes each time. When mixed with the Harvist Garlic and Chili Infused Red Palm Oil, it’ll help you save time so you don’t have to cut them.
